Mark Zuckerberg,CEO of Facebook announces about the working of “Dislike” button during a Q&A session. At Facebook’s Headquarter he responds to a question from a user in Cairo, its an alternative to “Like” Button shows empathy to the posts.
Zuckerberg always dismissed the calls for such a button but after the Syrian refugee crisis and death of the their loved ones, Zuckerberg understand that a “like” button doesn’t always express a user’s true thoughts on a post.”Not every moment is a good moment,” he said. Facebook is working on the tool, he said, But he did not offer a confirm what it would be called or on when to expect the new button in action.
“Some people have asked for a dislike button because they want to be able to say ‘that thing isn’t good,’ and we’re not going to do that,” Zuckerberg said. “I don’t think that’s socially very valuable, or great for the community.”
“We have an idea that we’re going to be ready to test soon, and depending on how that does, we’ll roll out it more broadly,” he said, according to CNN.
